On October 4, 2019, he was appointed a member of the Central Election Commission by Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine № 183-IX. On the same day, he took the oath of a member of the Central Election Commission.
Appointed responsible for ensuring the exercise of the powers of the Central Election Commission in Poltava and Chernivtsi Regions.
Main activities of the Commission:
– coordination related to generalization and preparation of proposals for equal application and improvement of the legislation of Ukraine on all-Ukrainian and local referendums, explanations and recommendations on these issues;
– coordination of consultative and methodological support of the activity of commissions on all-Ukrainian and local referendums;
– participation in coordination on monitoring the generalization of the court practice in cases of violations of election and referendum legislation, study of legal positions of courts and legal substantiation of their decisions in this category of cases, practice of application of procedural legislation by courts in cases related to election process; the referendum process, the development of proposals for improving the legislation governing the relevant legal relations.
