Sergii Postivyi
He was born on January 24, 1987 in Cherkasy, Ukraine.
Education:
In 2009 he graduated Law Faculty of the Eastern European University of Economics and Management.
Career:
2008 – 2009 – Leading specialist of the department, state inspector for control over land use and protection of the Department for control over land use and protection in Cherkasy region
2009 – 2012 – Enterpreneurship activity in the legal system
2012 – 2013 – Lawyer, VelMark LLC;
2013 – 2015 – Advising assistant to MP of Ukraine
2015 – 2019 – Bila Tserkva City Council (Kyiv Region), Adviser to the mayor, Head of the legal department, Manager of the Executive Committee
Initiator and developer of the following decisions of Bila Tserkva City Council:
– “On approval of the Regulations on the public budget of the city of Bila Tserkva”;
– “On the bodies of self-organization of the population in the city of Bila Tserkva”;
– “On approval of the Statute of the territorial community of the city of Bila Tserkva”.
In 2019 he participated in the International Election Observation Program of the President of Romania.
He was awarded the Diploma of the Kyiv Regional Council and the badge “Mayor’s Award”.
On October 4, 2019, he was appointed a member of the Central Election Commission by Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine № 185-IX. On the same day, he took the oath as a member of the Central Election Commission.
Appointed responsible for ensuring the exercise of the powers of the Central Election Commission in Kherson and Cherkasy Regions.
Main activities of the Commission:
– coordination of generalization of practice and preparation of proposals for the uniform application and improvement of the legislation of Ukraine during the organization and conduct of local elections, explanations and recommendations on these issues;
– coordination of implementation and protection of voting rights of citizens of Ukraine, compliance with the principles and principles of the election process provided by the Constitution and laws of Ukraine, control over compliance with the legislation of Ukraine on local elections;
– coordination of consultative and methodological support for the activities of election commissions for local elections;
– coordination of introduction of the new information technologies during the organization of the preparation and conduct of elections and referendums;
– coordination of the implementation and protection of the rights of persons with disabilities – voters and referendum participants during the organization of the preparation and conduct of elections and referendums.
