Honored Lawyer of Ukraine (2006). He was awarded the Diploma of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (2010), the Diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (2012), the Order of Merit of the III degree (2014).
On October 4, 2019, he was appointed Member of the Central Election Commission by Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine № 177-IX. On the same day, he took the oath a Member of the Central Election Commission and elected Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission.
Appointed responsible for ensuring the exercise of the powers of the Central Election Commission in Zaporizhzhia and Kyiv Regions.
Main activities of the Commission:
– coordination of ensuring the performance by the Central Election Commission of the functions of the State Register of Voters administrator;
– coordination of interaction of the Central Election Commission with the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine, the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, other competent authorities, including the implementation of appropriate cyber protection measures and information infrastructure of the Commission;
– interaction with state authorities, local self-government bodies, election commissions and referendum commissions on the issues of registration of citizens who have the right to vote;
– coordination of the territorial organization of elections and referendums;
– coordination of the interaction of the Commission with local executive bodies, local self-government bodies during organization of preparation and holding of elections and the all-Ukrainian referendum;
– coordination of logistical support for the organization of preparation and conduct of elections and the all-Ukrainian referendum, centralized preparation of election documentation, documentation for the all-Ukrainian referendum;
– coordination of the organization of a personal reception of citizens of Ukraine, subjects of election and referendum processes in the Central Election Commission;
– by order or instruction of the Chairman of the Central Election Commission to exercise certain powers of the Chairman of the Commission provided by the Law of Ukraine “On the Central Election Commission”, the Regulations of the Central Election Commission and the resolution of the Central Election Commission of October 22, 2019 № 1930 ”, in the absence of the Chairman of the Commission or the impossibility of the Chairman of the Commission to exercise his powers.
